Delete your account
You can have your data removed at any time. Bharat School Ride collects only what is needed to run the platform and never sells or monetises personal data.
Removing yourself from the waitlist
If you joined the early-access waitlist on this site, email info@vidhilekhalab.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request — Bharat School Ride” and the email address or phone number you signed up with. We will remove your details and stop all contact.
Deleting a service account
Once the service is live on your route, deletion requests can come from:
- Parents — removes your contact numbers, notification settings, and access to your child's profile;
- Drivers and vehicle owners — removes your profile and login credentials (verification records may be retained where the law requires);
- School or society administrators — removes your admin account; children's data is handled per the agreement with the school or society.
How to request
- Email info@vidhilekhalab.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request — Bharat School Ride”.
- Include the registered phone number, your name as shown in the app, and your role (Parent, Driver, or Admin).
- We may contact you to verify identity before processing.
Timelines
- Acknowledgment within 7 business days.
- Full deletion within 30 days of acknowledgment.
What happens to the data
- Login credentials, contact numbers, and notification settings are permanently deleted; WhatsApp notifications stop immediately.
- Child profiles are deleted or, where the school owns the enrolment, returned to the school's control.
- Trip and attendance records are anonymised (the link to you or your child is removed) and destroyed within 12 months, unless a court order or government authority requires longer retention.
Partial deletion isn't available — deleting an account removes all of its personal data as described above.
